CVMS+ provides before and after-school care for families who need care outside of the regular school day.

Our program provides a welcoming, structured environment where students have opportunities for outdoor play, creative activities, games, reading, and time to relax and connect with friends. Activities are designed to support students' independence and interests while maintaining the familiar Montessori environment and expectations of the school day.

Families can choose from prepaid care plans or flexible drop-in care, depending on their needs. Prepaid plans offer discounted rates, while drop-in care provides an option for families who need care on a more occasional basis.

Families using drop-in care should complete the weekly sign-up form by Friday of the week before care is needed. This allows us to plan staffing and ensure we are prepared for the children attending each week.

To ensure the safety and security of our Montessori students, we maintain high professional standards and follow all policies and procedures regarding student release and schedule changes. Students will only be released to individuals listed on their authorized pick-up list unless we receive written notice or verbal confirmation from a parent or guardian. Likewise, we will not make changes to a student’s regular schedule or routine without parent or guardian approval.

These procedures help ensure that every child remains safe, protected, and cared for with the utmost professionalism and attention.

At Montessori, we take pride in providing excellent service to our families. Please plan to arrive on time at the end of the program day so staff can conclude their duties in a timely manner and children can maintain a consistent schedule. Attendance is tracked daily.

A fee of $10.00 per child will be applied for every ten minutes past 5:30 p.m. on school days and 5:00 p.m. on camp days. Late pickups are recorded throughout the month and billed at the end of each month. To ensure fairness and smooth operations, families with consistent late pickups may risk losing access to the program.

As part of our commitment to collaboration and community involvement, we are pleased to waive certain CVMS+ fees for Montessori families who volunteer their time in our classrooms. Parents who serve as a substitute for a teacher or assistant during school hours will not be charged for CVMS+ during the length of their commitment.

This opportunity allows parents to play a direct role in supporting their child’s education and strengthening the Montessori community, reflecting our shared values of partnership, support, and inclusivity.
