THE FUND FOR EXCELLENCE

Each year gifts of all levels from families, alumni, trustees, faculty, staff and friends provide Chemung Valley Montessori School with critical resources that help maintain low teacher-student ratios, improve outdoor play spaces and facilities, enrich and expand curriculum, and provide professional development for staff. We are deeply grateful to our extended community of benefactors who contribute so generously to the CVMS Fund for Excellence (FFE).

​CVMS Annual Projects

Support for the Fund for Excellence is crucial in that it enables the school to commit, on a yearly basis, to improvements that enhance the school experience for students, faculty and staff, and parents. 

Below are the latest projects--each demonstrating the importance of this Fund: ​

• New Montessori materials for the classrooms

• Energy efficient lighting in the classrooms and halls

• Updated kitchen equipment

• Updated bathrooms in the Early Childhood and CVMS+ classrooms

• Lenovo laptops for students use

• Playground maintenance

• Completed a new painting cycle for classrooms and hallways
