The Admissions Process
- Call (607) 562-8754, extension 110, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. or email admissions@cvms.or for information and to make an appointment to see our classes in action.
- Submit an Application for Admission accompanied by a non-refundable application fee of $75.00, or $25.00 for the Toddler Program. Printable forms are included below.
- The Head of School determines the availability of enrollment:
- If an opening is available, the Director of Admissions schedules an interview for the prospective student with a teacher to determine the appropriateness of placement.
- If no opening is available, the student is placed on the wait list.
- If enrollment is offered, parents will be notified of deposit requirements and payment options. They then submit a non-refundable deposit, part of which will be applied towards tuition.
The Admissions Policies
Children on the wait list will be considered for enrollment, based upon the class needs, in accordance with the Montessori principles of education.
Children of staff members,siblings of currently enrolled students, enrolled toddlers and transfer students from other Montessori schools may be granted priority for enrollment.
You may contact the school at any time to determine your child’s admission status.
Applications are valid for three (3) years from the application date, or until the child is no longer eligible for enrollment.
CVMS supports diversity of all kinds. Financial aid is need-based and awarded on a yearly basis.
